COUPLES COUNSELLING IN TALLINN & ONLINE

Couples counselling for developing a relationship, not only repairing it

Care and commitment can remain strong while daily life, work, parenting, or different needs make it harder to reach one another. You can seek counselling before silence, tension, or the same argument begins to define the relationship.

My role is not to decide who is right. We create a space where both partners can express their experience, hear one another more accurately, and choose together what kind of relationship they want to build.

Couples counselling may suit you if you want to

  • discuss important subjects without defensiveness or blame
  • understand recurring conflict and the needs underneath it
  • renew closeness, trust, or a sense of being a team
  • adjust to parenting, workload, or a new stage of life
  • invest preventively in a good relationship rather than waiting for a crisis

Healthy relationships are welcome too

Seeking couples counselling does not mean a relationship has failed. Often it means the relationship matters and both people want to invest in it consciously.

A CALM, CLEAR PROCESS

How couples counselling works

01

Define a shared aim

We clarify what each partner hopes to gain from the sessions and from the relationship.

02

See the relationship pattern

We look beyond the subject of an argument to how each of you responds when tension rises.

03

Practise a different conversation

You learn to express needs more clearly, listen more accurately, and stay connected through disagreement.

04

Bring change into daily life

Together we choose small, realistic steps to practise between sessions.

Safety comes before couples work

If there is violence, coercion, threats, or fear of a partner, joint counselling may not be a safe first step. In immediate danger call 112; otherwise seek individual and victim-support guidance first.

FAQ

Couples counselling questions

01Is couples counselling only for a serious crisis?

No. It is also appropriate when the relationship works but you want to communicate better, understand patterns, or renew closeness intentionally.

02Do both partners need to attend?

Couples work is most effective when both attend and are willing to consider their own part. You may still send an initial question individually.

03Can couples counselling take place online?

Yes. Sessions are available at Ăślemiste Health Centre, at Ravi 17 in Tallinn, or by secure video call. Online sessions require a private room.

04How long is a session?

A session lasts 90 minutes and costs €100. In the first meeting we define the aim and decide together what rhythm would be useful.
